How I work
Small jobs, done right, with no surprises.
Most people don't need a remodel. They need a door that latches, a wall patched before move-out, a TV mounted straight, gutters cleared before the rain, or a list of small things finally crossed off. That's the work I do.
I ask for photos and a short description first, quote the job before I start, do the work, and clean up. If I find something that's beyond a handyman job, I tell you what I see and point you to the right professional instead of guessing.
Licensing and insurance
I'm not a licensed contractor. Under California law, unlicensed handyman work is limited to jobs under $1,000 in labor and materials that don't require a building permit. I stay inside that limit, and I'm insured. If a job would go over, needs a permit, or needs a licensed trade like electrical panel work, main-line plumbing, roofing, or structural repair, I'll tell you before any work starts.

I'm based in Martinez and take jobs in Pacheco, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Benicia, Vallejo, and the rest of the service area, out to about 35 miles. Farther jobs are possible; send photos and a list, and I'll tell you what makes sense.
