Bay Bilt Home Services is a locally-owned handyman operation based in Martinez, California. We serve homeowners, renters, and property managers across a 25-mile radius — covering most of Central Contra Costa County, from Benicia down through Danville and east toward Antioch.

This business was built on a simple premise: small home repairs shouldn't be a project in themselves. Finding a contractor, waiting weeks for a quote, paying commercial rates for a 30-minute job — none of that makes sense for the kind of day-to-day maintenance every home needs. Bay Bilt fills that gap.

We focus on handyman-scale repairs: drywall patches, sticking doors, TV mounts, furniture assembly, gutter cleaning, caulking, and the long list of small things that pile up. We're honest about what falls outside our scope — licensed electrical, major plumbing, structural work — and we'll point you toward the right trade when we hit that line.

Insured and Operating Legally

Bay Bilt carries general liability insurance on every job. We operate as a licensed-exempt handyman service under California AB 2622, which allows handyman services on projects under $1,000 in combined labor and materials that don't require a building permit.

We're transparent about this — we don't take on work that requires a contractor's license, and we tell you when your project needs one.
