Cabinet Repair & Hardware Installation in Martinez & Contra Costa County
Cabinets take a beating, and most of the problems are small: a door that hangs crooked, a hinge that has pulled out of the frame, a drawer that drags. I adjust and replace hinges, fix drawer slides, install new knobs and pulls, and make cabinet doors close properly again. Refacing and new cabinet installation are bigger projects, and I'll tell you where the line is.
What's Included
- Hinge adjustment and replacement
- Cabinet door realignment
- Stripped screw hole repair
- Drawer slide repair and replacement
- Soft-close hinge and drawer slide upgrades
- Knob and pull installation (with a template for perfect spacing)
- Loose face frame and shelf repair
- Bumpers, magnets and catches
Hinges are the usual culprit
Most sagging cabinet doors aren't broken doors. They're hinges that have worked loose or screw holes that have stripped out. A repair with the right filler and screws makes them hold again.
Hardware that fits
Pulls and knobs come in different hole spacings. Measure the center-to-center distance before ordering, and I can work from your existing holes or fill and re-drill for a different size.

When I'll Refer You to a Licensed Pro
Cabinet refacing, new cabinet installation, countertop work and anything that involves plumbing or electrical connections are bigger projects, and most go past California's $1,000 limit for unlicensed work. I'll tell you when a repair no longer makes sense and a replacement does.
Bay Bilt is not a licensed contractor. Work is limited to jobs under $1,000 (labor and materials). Insured.
